Bad news for Unai Emery’s Aston Villa. Boubacar Kamara, the key player in the Villains’ midfield, got hurt in a fight with Cheick Doucouré against Crystal Palace. The Malian went in for a tackle, but when he tried to get the ball back, he caught the Frenchman’s ankle and gave it a big twist. The Aston Villa ’44’ left the field without putting weight on his foot, a bad omen for what turned out to be the case.
Boubacar Kamara, with an ankle injury, will miss the next month. The Frenchman had already suffered an injury that kept him out of the World Cup and now, being irreplaceable for the Basque coach, he will once again be out of action for a period of time.
