No space for Maupay in Dyche’s Everton
Neal Maupay moved from Brighton to Everton for an opportunity to have more prominence, but he has struggled to find space in Sean Dyche’s squad. Despite starting under Frank Lampard, he has fallen down the pecking order with Calvert-Lewin and Simms as the priorities.
Maupay’s agent, Federico Pastorello, revealed in an interview with Tuttosport that the French striker has great options to move to Serie A next season and that there were negotiations with Salernitana in the past summer transfer window. Pastorello believes that Maupay’s style is a perfect fit for Italian football, making a move to Serie A a possibility for the next season.
