The Halifax Wanderers showcased their new home and away shirts for 2023 at a busy kit launch event in downtown Halifax on Tuesday night. Macron, the official technical provider for the Canadian Premier League, made the kits. They have designs that are unique to the Wanderers and reflect the community, people, and landscape of Nova Scotia.
The 2023 Primary Kit honors Nova Scotia’s beautiful landscape and love of sports. The shirt boasts a sublimated pattern that showcases the black granite rocks shaped by the sea, a prominent feature of the region. The design adheres to the classic look of the Wanderers, featuring a base of harbor blue and accents of naval grey. It is not only distinguishable and recognizable but also deeply rooted in the land and water that Nova Scotians use to play.
The alternate kit for this year, dubbed ‘The Community Kit,’ is a tribute to the supporters of the Wanderers. The shirt, shorts, and socks have a white base, while the trim of the jersey and player’s numbers and nameplate features a multi-colored design that celebrates the cultural diversity of Halifax.
The club’s catchphrase, “Together From Aways,” is etched onto the front of the shirt as a reminder that anyone, regardless of where they are, can be a part of the Wanderers Family.
