Up to four clubs are pursuing Swedish striker Viktor Gyökeres, whose move to the Premier League seems to be an impending reality.
Gyökeres, who has been owned by Coventry City since 2021, has emerged as the team’s top scorer, boasting excellent offensive records. This season alone, he has scored 20 goals and provided 9 assists in 44 Championship games, which has prompted interest from up to four clubs.
Bournemouth, Everton, Leeds, and Fulham will reportedly battle it out for the Swedish striker in the upcoming summer transfer window. All of these teams are in the mid-to-low range of the league table and are looking for an offensive reference who can bring a lot of goals and quality to the team to achieve more ambitious goals. Gyökeres’ market value is €8 million, but Coventry City will seek to maximize their revenue through a “very likely” sale.
